Gamifying real-world impact

The problem funraise space solves

🧩 The problem it solves

Today, most blockchain projects live in a purely speculative loop — disconnected from the real economy and everyday people.
At the same time, real-world talent and projects (like athletes, artists, or entrepreneurs) struggle to access capital and visibility.

funraise solves this by creating a bridge between Web3 communities and real-world impact.
It transforms investment into a gamified experience, where users can:

🎮 Play with purpose: every NFT pack represents real contracts from athletes tokenized through verified partners.

💰 Invest in real-world performance: users earn returns based on the real achievements of athletes.

🌍 Generate impact: their participation directly funds emerging talents who need financing to build their careers.

🔐 Safer access and multi-chain design: all tokens are backed by real legal contracts and are currently visible on-chain through Solana — but the infrastructure is ready to expand to Base, leveraging its scalability, security, and ecosystem to host future funraise experiences.

In short, funraise turns speculation into contribution — making Web3 fun, transparent, and meaningful again.

Challenges I ran into

⚙️ Challenges We ran into

When we started building funraise, we realized that the biggest challenge wasn’t just technical — it was conceptual.

There’s currently no successful model that connects real-world assets (RWA) with the behavior and expectations of new generations.
Most RWA projects are too financial, too static, or simply not fun.

The question we had to solve was:

🧩 How can we make people actually care about investing in the real world again?

That’s when we decided to turn investment into a game — designing gamified experiences around each type of RWA.
Today, it starts with athletes, where users open NFT “packs” like digital sports cards that represent real contracts.
Tomorrow, it could be real estate with Monopoly-style mechanics, or any other real-world vertical that can be tokenized and played.

Once we solved the conceptual layer, we faced two major technical challenges:

🔍 Transparency:
How to prove that every digital token truly represents a real, verifiable contract.
We built an on-chain verification system where each token stores a cryptographic hash of a legal document — keeping transparency without revealing sensitive data.

🎲 True randomness:
We needed to ensure that every pack opening was provably fair and random.
We combined on-chain verification with off-chain randomness oracles, optimizing UX speed while maintaining full auditability.

These challenges taught us something fundamental:

The hardest part wasn’t coding — it was redefining how people interact with real-world value.

What is your product’s unique value proposition?

funraise transforms real-world investment into an interactive, gamified experience — bridging the gap between blockchain users and real economic impact.

Unlike traditional RWA platforms that focus purely on financialization, funraise introduces game mechanics, collectibles, and real-world rewards to create continuous engagement and demand.

Our unique value lies in combining:

🎮 Gamification + Investment: each NFT pack represents tokenized contracts of real athletes, turning funding into a game of strategy, luck, and community.

🌍 Real-world validation: all tokens are backed by verified, legal contracts managed through partnerships with entities like Slice Token.

🔗 Transparency + traceability: each athlete’s token is visible on-chain, with proof-of-origin via cryptographic hashes.

🧩 Multi-chain architecture: built initially on Solana and designed to integrate seamlessly with Base to leverage its scalability and EVM ecosystem.

🧠 Our alpha build proves this value

In our alpha version, users can already:

Open NFT “packs” containing random athletes tokenized from Slice.

View on-chain rarity and scarcity verified through our bolillero system (on-chain draw mechanism).

Track the performance of athletes, linking in-game returns to real-world sports outcomes.

This first version validates that speculation can be redirected into contribution — users have fun, but their participation funds real athletes and creates measurable impact.

Who is your target customer?

Our target users are next-generation investors — digital-native individuals who seek fun, interactive, and transparent ways to engage with real-world value.

They fall into three main segments:

🕹️ Web3 Gamers & Collectors

Users familiar with NFTs, DeFi, and on-chain assets.

They’re attracted to strategy, collectibles, and transparent mechanics rather than pure speculation.

🎾 Sports Fans & Fantasy Players

People who already spend time and money engaging with sports through fantasy leagues, cards, and betting platforms.

funraise turns that passion into real participation — owning fractional contracts of real athletes.

💸 Impact-Driven Crypto Investors

Users looking for meaningful use cases of blockchain beyond trading.

They value transparency, sustainability, and positive social outcomes.

Who are your closest competitors and how are you different?

There are currently no direct competitors doing exactly what we’re building with funraise.
We sit at the intersection of Web3 gaming, RWA tokenization, and impact investing — a space still emerging.

We’re not like Courtyard.io, because our NFTs aren’t just art or fan tokens — they represent real, legally backed fractions of professional contracts.

We’re not a traditional RWA company, because we commercialize those real-world assets through games, creating community engagement and continuous demand.

And we’re not a gambling or prediction platform, because all our game mechanics are public, transparent, and fully verifiable on-chain.

In short:

funraise turns real-world assets into playable, verifiable experiences — bridging fun, transparency, and real impact.

What is your distribution strategy and why?

funraise is currently at the MVP validation stage, after securing its first commercial partnership with Slice Token.
This agreement allows us to test our gamified RWA model with real tokenized athletes before expanding to new verticals.
