The problem Fundify solves

Our platform tackles the persistent issues of transparency, accountability, and trust in government funding and stakeholder transactions. Currently, citizens often lack visibility into how public funds are allocated and spent. This lack of transparency leads to distrust in government processes, misallocation of resources, and the inability of citizens to ensure that funds reach those truly in need. Additionally, existing processes for allocating and tracking funds are often inefficient, opaque, and susceptible to fraud or mismanagement.

Challenges we ran into

We encountered a challenge while integrating the decentralized IC feature, particularly in securely binding wallet addresses with IC numbers through Masverse’s API. The issue was that some wallet bindings weren't consistently verified, which raised concerns about potential unauthorized access and data privacy. To overcome this, we implemented additional encryption layers and validation checks during the wallet binding process. This ensured that the integration was both secure and seamless.

Additionally, we refined the transaction monitoring system within the "Apply Bantuan" feature by utilizing Maschain Explorer. This allowed for real-time tracking and alerts for any suspicious activities, further ensuring that funds were properly directed to the intended beneficiaries. These enhancements not only resolved the initial issues but also strengthened the platform's security and increased user trust.
