So, we have come up with a Zulip Bot providing some unique features which will be helpful in the present scenario. When the whole world is fighting against this epidemic we can’t help anyone with respect to health through Bot, but we could provide a platform where everyone could know the best answers about corona instead of going to thousand of news channels and lakhs of articles.

Our Zulip chat Bot is integrated with a timer that reverts a message “Wash your hands, put up a mask” after a frequent interval of time, show news related to COVID globally as well as for a specific country, can go through COVID statistics globally and for each country too. You can ask COVID related queries from the Bot as well, i.e., How can I be safe from CoronaVirus and the Bot will answer for this. We have added some features like jokes to just make you relax, motivation section to make everyone contribute their best in the alarming condition when the nation is suffering.

Challenges we ran into

The foremost challenge was setting up the right environment and getting used to handling the Zulip API. It took a while to figure it out and get the workflow setup for testing. We tested each and every action we developed. We worked on several APIs and also write our own code instead of only depending on APIs.
