Discoverability is one of the biggest challenges for emerging artists and collections on Base. Many talented creators struggle to get eyes on their work, and collectors often miss early opportunities.

Our NFT Vending Machine mini app solves this by:

• Featuring underexposed artists directly in the app, giving them visibility.

• Sweeping their collections, this not only brings volume but also ensures artists earn fees on-chain.

• Adding their NFTs into our prize pool, users can win these NFTs for a low entry cost.

• Enabling social sharing, with our “share prize” function, collectors can show off their wins while driving attention to the original collection.

Artists get exposure + royalties, collectors discover hidden gems, and the community benefits from a fun, gamified way of engaging with Base NFTs.

One of the hardest challenges was setting a fair entry price. Currently, we use 0.001 ETH per spin, but this can feel expensive and its hard to get "prime" NFTs that are worth 0.001 ETH or less.

How we solved it:

We started focusing on minting or sweeping collections early when prices are still low.

This strategy means that when these collections grow in floor price, they create high value prizes for players.

By doing this, we’ve managed to keep the vending machine exciting, fair, and rewarding for users, while still supporting artists meaningfully.
