Challenges we ran into
We had a lot to learn through the course of the hackathon. It was an endless learning process and we didnt build a final stage product unfortunately, we were very far from it infact. Our understanding of the problem statement was fundamentally flawed , the mentors guided us to reach a level of understanding. We also developed more domain knowledge about finance transactions and the workflow behind the authentication of every transaction. Although we have a solid problem statement , our research on the statement was very insufficient. This being our very first hackathon , was a mega learning experience. We were able to come up with a functional website backed by an ML backend in django and html,css,js for frontend. Our website was not programmed for real-time. We understood that we need to explore the statement thoroughly before we begin to work on it. We are motivated to participate in more hackathons and get better at it.
