Challenges we ran into
Challenges we ran into:
- Public Key and Private Key Generation: Implementing secure key generation for user wallets posed initial challenges, ensuring both randomness and cryptographic strength.
- Wallet Connectivity: Integrating wallet for seamless interaction particularly ensuring compatibility and reliable communication across different platforms and browsers.
- Asset Issuance: We initially faced difficulties during asset issuance, particularly when implementing changeTrust functionality. This process is critical for establishing trustlines and managing asset balances within our platform.
- Yield Claiming: Designing and implementing a mechanism for users to claim yields generated by their fractional ownership of assets required careful consideration of transactional integrity and user experience.
- NFT Certificate Creation: Developing a process to generate and manage NFT certificates that accurately represent ownership of tokenized assets involved complexities in metadata handling, ensuring authenticity and verifiability on the blockchain. We faced issues where metadata associated with NFTs were not consistently displayed in transaction details, impacting transparency and user verification.
How We Addressed Them:
- Leveraging the API key from Diamcircle's documentation enabled us to implement secure and reliable public and private key generation for user wallets.
- DIAM Wallet Extension: For wallet integration, we leveraged DIAM wallet browser extensions to enhance connectivity reliability and user experience.
- To resolve the asset issuance issue, we extensively referred to relevant documentation and guidelines. This helped us understand the correct procedures and parameters required for changeTrust operations on the blockchain.
- We designed a yield farming strategy to generate yield for the investors.
- To resolve NFT certificate issue, we revisited our metadata encoding methods and transaction handling procedures.
