The problem Forge solves
The AI Meeting Scheduler simplifies booking meetings:
- Ease of Use: Users interact via natural language in XMTP chats (e.g., "Book a meeting for Monday").
- Automation: Handles availability checks, pricing queries, bookings, and cancellations, reducing manual coordination.
- Security: Leverages XMTP for encrypted messaging and Coinbase Wallet for mock payment flows.
- Applications: Ideal for freelancers, consultants, or teams needing quick, secure scheduling without complex tools.
It streamlines scheduling, making it faster, safer, and integrated into messaging platforms and most importantly bring it onchain.
Challenges I ran into
Limited time for full smart contract integration.
Hurdle: I got wind of the hackathon at a very late windo, deploying and testing a smart contract for payments within few timeframe was infeasible.
Solution: Used opensource smart-contract.ts to simulate payment flows, focusing on UI/UX and XMTP messaging for the demo
