The problem FoodSaver solves
People can use FoodSaver to:
Easily donate excess food to local charities and individuals in need.
Receive real-time notifications about available food donations in their area.
Find nearby drop-off locations through integrated mapping services.
Learn about reducing food waste and its environmental benefits.
Challenges I ran into
During development, one specific hurdle was ensuring seamless integration with various mapping services to accurately display nearby drop-off locations. We overcame this challenge by extensively testing different APIs and refining the integration process until it provided reliable results for users.
