Challenges we ran into

Web3 & Blockchain Integration:
Managed the complexity of two different blockchains (Ethereum for rewards, Aptos for core logic).
Faced the challenge of creating a user-friendly experience for Web3 features like wallet connections (WalletConnect, Civic).
Handled the intricacies of smart contract development and deployment.
Dynamic Pricing Algorithm:
Designed and implemented the core logic for automatically reducing prices as food nears expiration.
Likely needed to set up a scheduled task (cron job) on the server to run price updates automatically.
"Monorepo-Style" Codebase:
Managed dependencies and build processes for two separate parts of the project (frontend and backend) within one repository.
Created custom scripts to run both the frontend and backend servers concurrently.
