Challenges we ran into

The challenges we ran into while developing Food Fellow,

2. Sentiment Analysis Accuracy: Fine-tuning the sentiment analysis engine to accurately interpret student reviews in the context of college food service proved tricky.

3. Dish Specificity: Developing a system to categorize feedback by specific menu items within the app required careful consideration of user input and dish variations.

4. Integration Challenges: Integrating seamlessly with existing college IT systems (e.g., student IDs, payment gateways) for potential mobile ordering presented technical hurdles.

5. Privacy and Security: Ensuring robust data security measures to protect student privacy and college data while complying with regulations was paramount.

6. Engaging Students: Encouraging widespread student adoption of the app required effective marketing and user education strategies to overcome initial resistance or apathy.
