Flow Estate

Buy and sell property with ease and transparency

The problem Flow Estate solves

The project aims to address the problem of potential property buyers being susceptible to unfair pricing and scams when dealing with property dealers or brokers. Many individuals seeking to purchase property rely on these intermediaries to provide accurate and fair pricing information. However, some brokers may take advantage of their position to manipulate prices, leading to buyers paying more than the property's actual value.

To combat this issue, the project proposes the development of a website where users can search for properties in various locations and access the fair price range for each property. This fair price range will be sourced from verified users who have previously purchased the property, ensuring that the information comes from individuals with firsthand experience. As an incentive for contributing accurate pricing data, these verified users will receive an NFT token, which serves as a form of recognition and reward for their participation.

By leveraging the transparency and security of Flow blockchain technology, the project ensures that all transactions and authentication processes are reliable and trustworthy. The buyer will have access to the lowest price listed for a particular property after accepting the website's terms and conditions. Additionally, to support the maintenance and further development of the platform, the buyer will be required to pay 1.5% of the property price to the website.

In summary, this project aims to provide a solution to the problem of unfair pricing and potential scams in property transactions. By leveraging verified user data, incentivizing participation through NFT tokens, and utilizing blockchain technology for secure transactions, the project seeks to empower property buyers with reliable information and protect them from unscrupulous practices in the real estate market.

Challenges we ran into

We were facing issues with the authentication. We also had issues with providing an nft token to users who were giving details about the price range.

We had to learn the flows resource based working where we had to fetch the data from particular user's account storage and also flow's syntax sugar was a real challenging part to make a transaction we had to test it again and also since we used to work with evm compatible chains where one smart contract does the rest of the world and here we had to learn the whole brand new architecture of flow seperate transaction and script and usage of dev wallet and flow testnet is also not working some times and we had to learn all of these from scratch
