Web3 tasks often require significant computational effort, technical expertise, and extensive manual coding, creating a steep learning curve for developers and non-technical users alike.
For instance, building a copy trading application entails fetching on-chain swap events, creating a permissioned wallet, and integrating SDKs for trade execution—all requiring deep web3 knowledge and substantial coding skills.
Flow3 simplifies this process by offering a no-code solution where users can seamlessly select and connect pre-built web3 modules. With tools like the Moralis Event Listener, Coinbase Wallet Module, Coinbase/Uniswap SDK, and Telegram Notification Module, anyone can design sophisticated web3 flows with just a few clicks, unlocking the potential of web3 without the complexity.
Creating a seamless pick-and-drop UI experience was one of the biggest hurdles on the frontend. After numerous iterations, we successfully implemented this functionality using the React-Flow library, ensuring an intuitive and smooth user experience.
On the functionality side, tracking events and executing trades on Coinbase CDP presented a challenge, as these features were not feasible on testnets. However, we overcame this limitation by implementing and testing the solution on the Base Mainnet, enabling reliable and efficient functionality.
The intial commit in the frontend repo on December 3rd was intial boiler plate wireframe that was outputted by an AI prompt to bolt.new . This was meant to be used as a boiler plate code and to help us conceptualize what we will be building at the hackathon. This could have been done in something like figma or pen and paper as well.
We had to write the frontend from scratch at the hackathon as you can see in the immediate commit after the 1st commit so no real work was done prior and all the functional code was written at the hackathon.
The backend was built from scratch at the hackathon as well.
