Challenges we ran into

During the development of our flight booking app, we encountered several challenges. First and foremost, integrating with multiple airline systems and APIs proved to be complex, as each had its own unique data formats and authentication requirements. Additionally, ensuring real-time flight data accuracy and reliability posed a significant challenge, as flight schedules and availability constantly change.

Implementing secure payment gateways and complying with industry regulations, such as PCI-DSS, presented additional hurdles. Balancing user experience with the need for stringent security measures was a constant challenge.

Furthermore, scaling the app to handle high traffic and concurrent bookings required careful optimization of backend infrastructure and database management. Ensuring smooth performance and quick response times while handling a large number of users proved to be a significant technical challenge.
