Challenges I ran into
One of the biggest challenges I faced while building FinWise was integrating the bill upload feature with the backend. Handling various image formats and securely storing them in the database took some effort.
Solution:
- Used Supabase for secure image storage and real-time syncing across devices.
- Created tables for tracking expenses, budgets, and bills, ensuring data relationships were well-structured.
- Implemented Supabase Auth for secure user management and authentication.
By leveraging Supabase's tools for database management and storage, I overcame these hurdles to create a smooth, secure user experience.
