The problem Finova solves
Retail investors often rely on multiple platforms to research assets, follow market news, evaluate risk, and manage their portfolios. Switching between these tools makes investing time-consuming and makes it difficult to connect market information with individual investment goals.
Finova brings these workflows together in one dashboard. Specialist AI agents analyse technical indicators, company fundamentals, market news, and risk, then combine their findings through a review process to generate explainable investment recommendations.
Users can explore market data, track a paper portfolio, and receive investment opportunities based on their preferences and risk tolerance.
For supported BTC and ETH options on Base, Finova also integrates with Thetanuts Finance, bringing contract selection, wallet checks, and transaction previews into the same workflow. Users can choose between manual, alert-only, confirmation-based, and automated modes, while equity and ETF execution remains paper-based.
Challenges we ran into
A major implementation challenge was keeping multiple AI agents consistent. We addressed this by providing every agent with the same normalized market snapshot, running specialist analyses in parallel, and passing their results through risk and committee reviews before producing a final recommendation.
AI reliability was another challenge. We implemented provider fallbacks, request timeouts, retry limits, and structured response validation to handle unavailable services and malformed AI outputs.
Connecting recommendations to the correct execution workflow also required careful separation. Equity and ETF recommendations use paper trading, while supported blockchain options follow a separate execution path with checks for collateral, gas, contract expiry, and price movement. Transaction previews and dry-run support allow the options workflow to be inspected before submission.
