This project addresses the need for specialized financial expertise in AI by fine-tuning a large language model (LLM) for the finance sector. It ensures accurate, context-aware financial advice and insights tailored to specific financial tasks, such as investment analysis and risk assessment. By incorporating compliance checks, it guarantees adherence to regulations, mitigating legal risks. The model automates complex financial processes, reducing manual effort and human error. Ultimately, it empowers businesses and individuals with smarter, more reliable decision-making tools.
While developing the finance-specific LLM, some key challenges include ensuring data quality and consistency, as financial data can be noisy or incomplete. Additionally, ensuring compliance with strict financial regulations like GDPR or MiFID II can be complex, requiring regular audits and validation of model outputs. There is also the risk of model overfitting, which can limit its ability to generalize to new scenarios, and the potential for bias in the training data, which could skew predictions. Addressing these challenges will require careful data preprocessing, regulatory checks, and regular evaluation to ensure accuracy and compliance while building user trust in the model.
