Challenges we ran into
- UI Responsiveness: Layout broke on smaller screens. Fixed using responsive design with Flexbox and Tailwind.
- Visual Appearance: Initial UI lacked structure. Enhanced with better spacing, colors, and consistent components.
- Backend CORS Error: API calls were blocked. Resolved by configuring CORS to allow frontend origin.
- Backend Errors: Crashes due to missing async error handling. Fixed with try-catch blocks and input validation.
- Civic Auth & MongoDB: Issues saving/authenticating users. Solved by ensuring DB connection before auth flow and enforcing unique email checks.
