The problem we have focused on is a common hazard in forests which is known as a forest fire. Forest fires are as old as the forests themselves. They pose a threat not only to the forest wealth but also to the entire regime to fauna and flora seriously disturbing the bio-diversity and the ecology and environment of a region. During summer, when there is no rain for months, the forests become littered with dry senescent leaves and twinges, which could burst into flames ignited by the slightest spark.
Forest fire causes imbalances in nature and endangers biodiversity by reducing faunal and floral wealth. Traditional methods of fire prevention are not proving effective and it is now essential to raise public awareness on the matter, particularly among those people who live close to or in forested areas. The main aim of our project is to help people become aware of forest fire depending on the various weather aspects so that they can save themselves by escaping such disaster. Our project comes under the Awareness track as people could use this website to find out whether they are at a risk due to forest fire and in that case, they can make proper decisions prior to evade from facing the disaster and also to prevent it.
We couldn't file a proper dataset that could exactly contain the values we require to train our model. Hence, we had to research and make our own dataset. Apart from this, we faced some issues in flask where the webpage wasn't loading using the HTML link generated.
