Why are you participating for Based SEA?

I am a builder passionate about building products and tools that bring people onchain,increase user ownership,innovation and creativity.
I’m participating in Based SEA to harness blockchain technology for building a better world in healthcare. My project aims to create a decentralized medical documentation system that empowers individuals to own and share their medical records securely. By addressing privacy concerns and inefficiencies in traditional systems, we can enhance access to vital health information. This hackathon is a perfect platform to collaborate with fellow innovators committed to solving real community challenges

What challenges are you focusing on?

I’m focusing on key challenges in medical record management in my city Bangkok Thailand, Singapore, and other Southeast Asian countries. These include the inefficiencies of traditional systems, which rely heavily on paper documentation, lack of secure, accessible channels for patients to manage their own health data,

Additionally, privacy concerns and data breaches are prevalent issues that undermine trust in healthcare systems. With the help of Base, I aim to innovate a community-centric decentralized medical documentation system, enabling individuals to securely upload, share, and control their medical records. This project will enhance privacy, improve access to vital health information, and ultimately foster a more efficient and trustworthy healthcare ecosystem in our region.

How does your submission address this challenge?

My project, Ficave, addresses the challenges of medical record management in Thailand,Philipines, Singapore, and other Southeast Asian countries by creating a decentralized system that empowers individuals to take control of their health data. By allowing users to securely upload, share, and own their medical records, Ficave mitigates issues related to inefficiencies in traditional paperwork and enhances privacy protections. People in my community and beyound can now easily upload,share and own their medical records and acess it easily anytime they need to.
To make the accesibility of my project inclusive i built the the smart wallet which seamlessly creates a wallet address for users without needing to create an external wallet and backup phrase hassle, even a non-tech savy in bangkok can use Ficave to own and manage his/her medical records.

Challenges I ran into

This is my first time building with base names and smart wallet, so i had little difficulties setting it up, but the base team support for SEA region during this buildathon period was top notch, i got help with setting it up and built with impact at heart and fun along.
