The problem FhenixBattle solves lies in the inherent challenges of multiplayer gaming on traditional blockchains. Without the Fhenix blockchain, multiplayer battle games become susceptible to unfair advantages, as players can view each other's stats upon joining the lobby, leading to strategic manipulation.
Conventional blockchains lack the inherent privacy and security needed for a truly competitive multiplayer gaming experience. Additionally, the reliance on external oracle-based systems for generating random numbers incurs significant costs. However, FhenixBattle, powered by Fhenix and FHEVM, addresses these issues by providing native on-chain randomness. This not only ensures a level playing field by preventing stat manipulation but also eliminates the need for expensive external systems, making multiplayer gaming on FhenixBattle fair, secure, and cost-effective.
During the development of FhenixBattle, we encountered a challenge when the Fhenix testnet blockchain was temporarily unavailable. As a workaround, we showcased the project on the Polygon Mumbai network. Despite this, we ensured that the smart contract, leveraging the advanced features of FHE, was still provided as an integral part of the project.
