The problem Farmer Ally solves

We are helping farmers in every stage of farming from crop selecting to monitor the growth, for which we are providing:

1. Nearby soil testing laboratories in map.
2. Crop recommendation from soil nutrition and weather data of current location.
3. Gamified plant growth mentoring.
4. Plant disease detection from leaves images and pesticides recommendation.
5. Price prediction of crop based on location.
6. Connect with experts via video call.
7. Ecommerce marketplace to redeem the coins received during crop growth mentoring.
8. Real time weather parameters like temperature, humidity etc and alerts based on location.

Challenges we ran into

We had 2 backend servers, one was node server and other flask server for machine learning models, doing an effective communication between both of these server was little bit difficult and we got many CORS errors but we were able to solve it and made a complete product, also for the logic behind the gaming we had to find lot’s of agriculture related facts like growth period of plants, their height at different weeks etc. which took up a lot of time, also finding the agriculture dataset that satisfies all our need was difficult and took up a lots of time, despite all these challenges we are able to effectively deliver the complete prototype of the product.
