farme is a Farcaster Client App that empowers you to express your imagination anytime, anywhere, and in any form through onchain stickers.
The problem farme solves
- You can place both your on-chain art and off-chain images freely on a blank canvas.
- Problem: BigTech grid lines restrict the expressive potential of art installations, but with this solution, there are no such limitations.
- You can upload already owned images to the on-chain directly from a mobile web app.
- Problem: ZORA’s mobile app is still invite-only and limited to a few users, with the constant risk of being banned by Apple.
- Every time you mint a friend’s sticker, the protocol reward is paid to the sticker’s creator.
- Problem: While amo ID is a fantastic product, it inadvertently promotes free-riding on others’ expressions and lacks motivation for uploads.
- Simply put, stickers belong to the streets and are incredibly cool.
- Problem: The establishment only recognizes art that is framed, disregarding street-style expressions.
Challenges we ran into
- Integration with Farcaster and automatic linking of posting channels
- Introduction of AI image recognition tools for sticker creation at sustainable costs
- Selection of technology that enables free uploads and minting
