The problem Farm-Connect : Connecting the farmers pan-India. solves

This is an initiative to connect all the farmers of India directly to the markets. This will ensure that consumers get fresh vegetables at throw away prices right at their doorstep and also help farmers make REAL PROFITS(no middlemen are involved here).This project is an attempt to replace the traditional system of buying and purchasing farm greens with a fast, reliable and secure online system.Starting or shifting the farm product selling business online helps in capturing a large audience base.The online marketplaces offer advertisement opportunities to market our business online via banner ads or listing the store at top searches.It is a plan to facilitate direct selling platforms to sell fruits and vegetables ,a move aimed at cutting out the middlemen ,allowing farmers to sell directly to consumers, thus helping them save high intermediation costs. The platform would seek to bring about transparency and cut out brokers from the scene by allowing sale through this platform.
Farmers don't just work till the sun goes down ! They work till the job gets done.
This is our bid to empower the farm heroes .

Challenges we ran into

Email Ids and passwords of sellers and the customers , on a larger scale, were prone to getting hacked. So, we solved the issue by encrypting it using npm package of
Bcrypt , using 10 rounds of salting.

We faced the problem of language as our website renders text only in English and not in any regional languages or dialects of India. In the given constraints of time we were not able to use the google translate API in our application/ website.

We also faced the issue of making a successful payment window during checkout, which we intend to implement using the traditional method for collecting payments online through a merchant account and a payment gateway such as Authorize.Net. like PayPal or Square or with something like Stripe.

We were unable to add the feature of choosing the quantity of products due to lack of time., thats why we are restricted to buy only specific amounts of a particular product.

We will definitely try to incorporate the due changes in the next versions of our website and we'll love to add more features to it .
