The problem Farm Expert solves

1. Sometimes the farmers want to grow a crop but don’t know the proper soil conditions, so they try to abandon their land and go to a new one. This leads to deforestation as they will cut down the forests to make a land for cultivation. Our application will help them know the soil conditions that their crop require, so that they can do simple changes in their soil and make their land useful. It will also recommend them a variety of crops that can be grown on their land with current conditions.

2. Also, due to lack of knowledge, farmers add wrong fertilizers which lead to the death of their crops and thus decreasing the yield. So, our application will also help them know the soil and weather conditions required for a particular crop so that it can give more yield.

3. We also provide a Disease prediction model where farmers can upload a photo of their leaves and we will tell them about its health and how it can be cured.

Challenges we ran into

For the creating this project, we use Flask as the framework to run our Machine Learning. But it showed some error so we had to switch to FastAPI immediately.
Also the deployment of its backend is hard
