The problem Fanatix solves

Humans are born to create. We aren't born to live a life that has us working 9-5, for others, on things that we don't love.

We, are building a platform to facilitate a better life. For every one of us.

Human Potential is limitless. We invest in companies, on the basis of the people there. But we don't have a way to invest directly into people. Yet.

Introducing, Fanatix.

We talked to creators. They hated the fact that they were bound by sponsors and agencies. An average creator gets only 40% of the revenue generated. Small creators find it really hard to grow, even if they have huge potential. They don't have the money to buy good equipment, nor do they have enough to hire a team. What they have, goes to the mediators or is eaten up by the platform.

We talked to fans. They agreed to spending more time than ever on social media, watching the favourite influencers. But the experience of scrolling past wasn't enough. They wanted something deeper. Something more beneficial. Something more meaningful.

We talked to sponsors. They hated the fact that they had to deal with managers and couldn't get direct access to influencers that they wanted. It's always the middlemen, isn't it?

SO, We decided to build for all three.

Creators promise their future revenue(royalties) to their fans. Superfans invest into their favourite creators, especially the small ones(10k-100k). Using this money, the creator gets good equipment and a good team to grow and generate more revenue. After a certain period, the revenue generated by the creator gets split into the SuperFans. Win-win for both.
Sponsors can list their campaigns as bounties which can be claimed by Creators, hence reducing the friction caused by managers and middlemen.

Challenges we ran into

Safe-AA-Kit:

Safe had a major update just before the start of the hackathon. While great for the ecosystem, this meant that we had few updated docs and existing examples. While trying to integrate web3auth using pimlico, we were faced with a window not defined error. Upon resolving that, we were faced with an error that didn't allow us to sign a transation to generate the Safe. Thanks to the help of the amazing mentors(Germain and Garvit) we were able to resolve this error.

Huddle01:

Just like Safe, Huddle01 also underwent a major update just before the hackathon. We tried integrating an automated transcript generator using AI, but were unable to integrate our SymblAI model as we didn't have access to the server side information in real time. Spending almost 4 hours with the kind team at the booth, we finally set up our own server and integrated the SymblAI model to use

Powerloom Protocol:

This complex yet crazy useful protocol was a bit hard to understand at the start, but the amazing mentors made it a breeze. They helped us spin up a node on Base and walked me through the entire process of integration. Powerloom is used to collect snapshots of FanatixTier, FanatixOwnership, TopTiers, PreviousHoldings, RoyaltiesUtilites, in order to build a recommendatin engine so that the user finds the right creator to invest in.
