Learning with fun is the most desired thing in the modern world and our product delivers the same. We aim to make every discord server a hub of knowledge where everyone can learn while having fun.
The problem FakeMilo solves
With the pandemic still going on , the world is in a dire need of some exciting and entertaining ways to learning. Also online platforms like discord are turning out to be the new hangout place for many people. So our idea is based on creating something so as to bring many people who are active on platforms like discord together to make education fun. Keeping this in mind we built a discord bot for making education (general knowledge) fun. It is a bot that holds trivia tournaments in discord servers and helps everyone to learn by competing.
Challenges we ran into
The course to building the bot wasn't a smooth one. We ran into various issues some of which are as follows:
- Initially we tried to integrate our bot with a voice-enabled AI service (like speechly) but soon realized that it would be very difficult to implement the same in a time limited environment so we scrapped that idea.
- Besides this various uncalled and bizzare errors haunted us throughout the hackathon period but we managed to somehow resolve them.
- Tiredness , Fatigue and the pressure to deliver in a limited environment too took a toll on our minds and bodies.
