Eventverse

A revolutionary blockchain-based ticketing platform engineered to combat fraud and inefficiencies in the event ticketing industry leveraging on the Base blockchain.

The problem Eventverse solves

Before this project, people struggled with fraud and inefficiencies in event ticketing, with global online payment fraud projected to reach $91 billion by 2028. This impacts trust and operations, making it a significant bottleneck that solutions like ours aim to address. Eventverse comes in as a revolutionary blockchain-based ticketing platform engineered to combat these fraud and inefficiencies in the event ticketing industry. Leveraging the Base blockchain, we empower event organizers to issue tickets as digital tokens, ensuring secure purchases, effortless resales, and QR-code-based authentication.

Challenges we ran into

  1. Starting off to build on base technology was quite a problem for us since it is a new technology. The communication channels that were put in place like discord channel and telegram provided quick to access information that started us off. The base batch event that was organized in the previous week to explain to us how base works and how to use it also came in handy to help us get started.
  2. Our initial project was an agentkit project but it did not kick of since we realized that agentkit uses OPENAI model which is a paid model. To solve this we had to shift to a different track.
