EthXY: Warlords is a pixel-art fantasy MMORPG game on Base that blends medieval and fantasy aesthetics with crypto-economy mechanics. Players make their characters, hire mercenaries, raid bosses, collect loot, farm crops eventually form their own kingdoms.

EthXY: Warlords is fully compatible with Base app as a miniapp.

Core features

• Over 200 fully-featured weapons, armor, mounts to collect.
• Expansive farming system with 42 fruit and vegetable crops to unlock.
• Compelling mercenary system where you can collect followers based on top Crypto Twitter personalities. Each follower is 1 of 1 globally unique. Will you be the person to grab Vitalik?
• Trading Card style inventory system with rich lore behind each item and each follower.

Challenges I ran into

Developing the core gameplay loops took over a year of iteration figuring out which actions felt most compelling. The game design was the hardest component compared to anything technical. We feel the game is now ready for primetime where the gameplay has been polished.
