The problem ETH-LAT/LONG <you are here> solves
Adds a way to embed geographical data to onchain messages, farcaster casts, media(721 nfts at the moment) on ethereum . Adds a unified UI for ethereum data that has geographical data attached. Layers serve as ways to see the same place in different ways. Think of how channels work on farcaster.
Challenges I ran into
Inexperience, indecision(changing my idea too many times) and time mostly. The project is probably only 40% complete.
One bug that was super shallow and took me quite some time to solve by rushing to the wrong problem even though it was super simple was: 1) using the wagmi cli to generate typescript defs to use on the frontend I kept running into a json parser error. At the end it was that it was trying to consume typescript hardhat artifacts as well as the only needed json and the glob pattern was off.
