Smart Contract Deployment Errors
We struggled with bugs and deployment issues on testnets — even a missing semicolon in Solidity would break everything. -
Time-Lock Logic with Smart Contracts
Implementing precise time-based message unlocking was tricky — we had to learn how to handles timestamps and how to securely trigger future events. -
Smart Contract Interaction UX
We underestimated how jarring it can be for users to get a MetaMask popup for every small action. We needed to rethink flow and batch actions. -
Making Emotional Design Decisions
It wasn’t just about buttons — we wanted to create a feeling. Designing a UI that matched the emotional tone of a “time capsule” was tricky and subjective.
