The problem Erudition repository - SoftDart solves
One of the biggest reasons for developing this application is that the user gets the solution within a short time and with a proper explanation. The project offers a common platform where questions of all categories can be asked and are filtered using different types of tags. The user can answer any question if he/she is aware of the answer. The user also can comment on the answer given by other users. He can explain his views on the respective answers. This Prototype application provides this facility to help the user/client with minimal work.
The users act as clients and are connected to the server.
Challenges we ran into
- Database Connection:- Since we didn't know much about connecting the application to the database, we ran into a lot of problems regarding database connection.
- Client-Server Architecture:- The use of sockets to connect clients to the server was a very challenging one. From sending a message to the server to receiving a response from the same, all were a bit tricky in the beginning.
