The problem E-Ration : Online system for ration card solves
The proposed E-Ration system solves several problems associated with the existing manual ration system, including:

The E-Ration system will reduce the chances of black marketing, as the entire process will be online, and the distribution of ration will be more transparent.
Efficient record maintenance: Maintaining records manually is a time-consuming task and requires a lot of resources. With the E-Ration system, all the records will be maintained digitally, which will be more efficient and less time-consuming. The system will also ensure that the past records are preserved, which is not possible with the existing manual system.
Convenient payment options: The existing ration system requires the beneficiaries to make the payment in cash, which is not always convenient. With the E-Ration system, the beneficiaries can make the payment online or offline, which will make the process more convenient and accessible.

Challenges we ran into
During the development of the E-Ration system, the team encountered several challenges, including:

User adoption: The success of the E-Ration system depended on the adoption of the system by the users. The team had to ensure that the system was easy to use and user-friendly, to encourage the users to switch from the existing manual system.
