The problem E-POTLI solves
E-POTLI a web application that enables students to step into the world of investment together with all the features of a digital wallet, a wallet where students can have their own digital currencies that be used everywhere on the campus as a digital mode of transaction and can have functions like Mobile recharge, DTH recharge, etc. E POTLI comes with a digital ledger that will keep track of all your own money, your Debts, and Assets and helps you to grow your portfolio.
E-POTLI helps in building the mettle to be an early investor and step into finance by using the smart investing feature, where our fund managers will be using AI and Machine learning tools for exponential growth in your investment. The AI tools will help to diversify the portfolio and execute automated trading considering various factors like sentimental analysis of market using Natural Language Processing and technical analysis of charts. It comes along with the feature of 24x7 credit and debits directly through your
bank account at almost 0 costs and with one scan payment feature which is highly secured and untamperable using blockchain technology.
Challenges we ran into
Monetary regulations by the government will impose a threshold amount that is to be invested by a particular student. No crypto regulatory laws in the country will promote most of the investments into cryptos which will give promising higher returns than equity but come along with great volatility, so ML models should have to be trained to handle all those cases as well.
Application is dependent on various API’s, so failing either one of them will stall the whole workflow of the
application.
