The problem EPFense and NFT_BirthLink solves

EPFense addresses the issue of employers failing to make timely or accurate contributions to the EPF. By leveraging blockchain, the platform provides a tamper-proof record of transactions, automatically penalizes non-compliant employers, and facilitates legal actions, ensuring that employees receive their due benefits without hassle.

The Birth Certificate NFT System addresses the problem of secure, tamper-proof, and easily accessible vital records management. By issuing birth certificates as NFTs on the blockchain, it eliminates the risks associated with traditional paper-based systems, such as loss, forgery, and delays in verification. This system ensures that birth records are permanently stored, easily retrievable, and verifiable, improving transparency and efficiency for both citizens and government agencies.

Challenges we ran into

One of the key challenges was integrating the blockchain smart contracts with the existing EPF infrastructure while maintaining a user-friendly interface. We also faced issues loading the API due to many requests being made and caching.
