InventStore & PrintCoin = Physical Bitcoins
Tokenize Reality and Build the InventStore
The problem InventStore & PrintCoin = Physical Bitcoins solves
Why print Bitcoin embodiments? Onboarding the general public has proven to be a great challenge for Bitcoin. Bitcoin was designed to support online and offline transactions. In order to onboard the public who desire to have the offline or common experience of using physical coins and notes and other physical embodiments of Bitcoin, we propose that we enable Bitcoiners to 3D print coins and notes and other objects that are "Pegged" to Bitcoin in such a way that they can be traded as if they are physical money. For example, we can print a 3D coin that will simply have public and private (embedded and hidden) QR codes printed on them and be loaded with satoshis. In theory one can 3D print a 1 satoshi coin, and this may be cool, but not practical. The coins may also be associated with 1SatOrdinals, optionally, or Runes. The complexity of dealing with conversion to USD or any other currency is strictly avoided because this is a proof of concept for the hackathon and we believe that we should attempt to denominate things in terms of satoshis first to see what kind of traction a simple solution can achieve and measure the interest in working towards something more flexible. Tokenization of 3D objects also allows for something new; a killer app. The INVENTSTORE.
InventStore is a killer app for Bitcoin. It will allow users to link 1SatOrdinals or Runes to inventory objects and share those objects in a pool to allow the development of new inventions from the exisiting and available components shared by the users. Profits from earnings from intellectual property rights will be automated via Bitcoin. InventStore tracks the inventory of any 3D object by NFC, Barcode, LoRA or RFID tags.
Challenges we ran into
Figuring out how to print a QR code in 3D that is readable. Reverted to sticker using Thermal Printer.
