The problem ens.card solves
ENS is widely known as just a "name to address" mapper but it's actually a full decentralized identity layer. The problem? Nobody has made it beautiful or accessible.
Right now:
-
Sharing your wallet address means copy-pasting an ugly 0x1a2b3c... string.
-
Your ENS profile data (bio, socials, avatar) exists on-chain but is invisible to most people.
-
There's no easy way to view or update your ENS identity without navigating complex blockchain tools.
ens.card solves this by making ENS text records human-readable, visually stunning, and shareable with a single link like a Web3 business card or a decentralized Linktree.
Challenges I ran into
-
Public RPC reliability: Free Ethereum RPC endpoints are rate-limited and sometimes go down. Solved by implementing a fallback chain of multiple RPC providers.
-
Writing text records: ENS setText calls require knowing the correct resolver contract address per name, and the user must be the owner. Added proper error handling for rejected transactions and missing resolvers.
-
ENS Avatar formats : ENS avatars can be stored as ipfs://, ar:// (Arweave), or HTTPS URLs. Had to handle each format and convert to a browser-displayable URL.

Cheer Project
Cheering for a project means supporting a project you like with as little as 0.0025 ETH. Right now, you can Cheer using ETH on Arbitrum, Optimism and Base.
