The problem Employee Helpdesk System solves

It helps employees provide anonymous reviews for their seniors and fellow colleagues. It helps them talk about stuff that tehy may be uncomfortable in a professional setup. It also helps to keep attrition rates low as company may be able to gauge the behaviour of its employees. It helps the company realise problems faced by it's employees and to take necessary steps to address their grievance through an efficient and anonymous redressal system.

Challenges we ran into

For all four members of our team, it was our first ever hackathon experience. It was both challenging and exciting.One of the first major challenge that we faced was having all teammates proficient in a different tech stacks and trying to be able to efficiently working with each other when each one of us has a different proficiency. Initially, we decided to make a mobile application. Midway through the hackathon, we faced certain problems with authentication in Firebase. After spending almost 2 hours on working through the problem, we decided to not waste any more time since it was a time-based competition.Therefore, we decided to switch and make a web application. This was one of the major challeneges for us because it was our first experience and we had to change the tech stack with half the time we had. Another challenge we faced was the lack of directives as to how to provide the workflow of an applicaton. Thanks to the mentor we realised that making the workflow is as important as making the application as well as coding. Inspite of all this, we were able to make a website as well as a mobile application.
