In 2010, I began my career working for large corporations and even international industries. But deep down, I was unsatisfied. I always believed that I could make a difference in the world, but I felt limited by the traditional model. The rigid, centralized hierarchical structure felt outdated for most businesses.

After years of working in the corporate world, I decided to follow my heart and lead a decentralized organization while introducing blockchain technology to Latin America.

I realized that many centralized organizations were facing problems due to a lack of transparency and inadequate decision-making. I knew that decentralization could be the solution to these problems and decided, even without knowing much English, to lead some initiatives that are critical to our ecosystem.

I decided to face my fears and embark on a journey to learn English. I practice conversation exercises every day and work hard to improve my communication skills. I learned that overcoming fear and insecurity is possible through determination and hard work.

Our biggest challenge was finding a business model that was profitable and, at the same time, allowed for the decentralization of the organization. We knew that we needed a model that could compete with traditional companies but also be sustainable in the long term and faithful to its ideals.

We faced many obstacles, such as difficulty in finding investors who believed in our forward-thinking model. Many traditional business owners still do not understand how a decentralized company can be successful. Additionally, we faced operational challenges such as dealing with communication and coordination among the different project hubs.

We overcame many of these initial challenges and established a business model that valued collaboration and autonomy within these hubs. We found investors who believed in our vision and established partnerships.

Challenges I ran into

During the development of this project, we faced several challenges related to decentralization. One of the main hurdles was finding a business model that could support both decentralization and sustainability in the long term, while also being competitive with traditional companies.

Another significant challenge was communication and coordination between the different hubs of the project. We encountered operational difficulties in managing this, which required significant effort to overcome.

One of the key bugs we encountered was related to our communication and coordination system. The initial version of the system was not efficient enough, leading to delays and misunderstandings between the different hubs. To overcome this, we spent a significant amount of time and resources developing and testing a new version of the system, which eventually proved successful.

Additionally, we faced obstacles in finding investors who believed in our decentralized model and were willing to provide funding. Many traditional business leaders were skeptical about the viability of a decentralized organization, which made it challenging to secure financial support.

To overcome these challenges, we remained determined and persistent in our mission to promote decentralization. We sought out investors who shared our vision and offered unique value propositions to demonstrate the benefits of our approach. We also invested heavily in developing and refining our communication and coordination system, as well as building a supportive structure for other decentralized projects.

In the end, we were able to establish a successful decentralized organization that offers transparency and autonomy within project hubs, ultimately leading to more efficient decision-making. We also created a platform for other decentralized projects to receive support and encouragement, leading to a more democratic business landscape.
