• Real-time crowd monitoring: The app has an in-built feature for monitoring the available seats. User can check the crowd density of a particular bus and can opt for a less crowded bus.By this lots of issues like spreading of diseases and physical harassments will get reduced and promote passesgers to have peaceful and safety journey. Also, this real-time crowd analytics is sent to the bus depot so that depots can send more buses in higher passenger routes & this can easily increase their revenue.
• Current bus location: Users can track the exact location & timing of the bus so that there is no need to spend more time in bus-stops. This makes the user to plan their journey more efficiently & prevents the user from missing the bus. It promotes peoples to prefer public vehicles rather than private vehicles and in turn reduces transport emission(CO2 and other emission) and leads to have pollution less environment.
• Geofencing Integration: Geofencing Integration was a little challenging to know the exact location of the buses.
• Data Handling: Data transfer via the cloud to the app and raspberry pi and vice versa.
• Map Integration: We had some trouble integrating the map in the app.
• Fewer No. of Smart Phone Users in Rural Areas: We had observed that few per cent of people won't be using smartphones. Installing digital displays in the bus stations(especially in rural areas), which displays, near busses within the radius of the station and also offers other limited features of the app including E-ticketing.
• Communication modules: Interfacing communication module is little bit challenging as it require high presice modules.
