The problem EldCare( Elderly+Care) solves

1. Elders have a tendency to forget things, so our app will provide them with regular notifications reminding them when/whether to take a walk, take their medicine etc.
2. To help relief their stress and for the betterment of their health rendering them to more happiness or ease in life - we have different activities like yoga, music therapy, speech therapy and physiotherapy sessions.
3. In general cases, family of elderlies are busy in their lives and to hire a proper caretaker for their elderly might become excruciating but with our app, they can directly hire a proper caretaker after judging his/her profile from the reviews and qualifications etc.
4. For elder people with Alzheimer's, we have a dedicated option for video call or phone call so that they can interact with their loved ones to render their memory better and give them mental relief from the stress.
5. Elderlies can book doctor appointments smoothly after viewing their profile (can book slots in the calendar or relative to time of need), they can then have a voice/video chat with doctor and after that - medicines prescribed by the doctor will be automatically added to the cart. Elderlies can then checkout from the cart and then directly order medicines. The app will contact nearby medical stores and the medicines will be delivered at home. Besides prescribed medication, elderlies can order anything they want from the local medical stores.
6. There is a page for appointments where you can see upcoming or past appointments for future references which will make things easy for elderly.
7. There will be a profile page of the elderly from where the doctor or the caregiver can see their details and then help them.

Challenges we ran into

1. Breaking down complex designs to make it easier for the old people to use.
2. As there are many similar apps for healthcare of elderly people, we had to research on the features which those apps neglected and inculcate those features in our app.
