Symptoms:

• Random connection failures when switching between wallets
• Cached wallet data persisting across different wallet connections
• MetaMask circuit breaker errors during high-frequency requests
• Users getting stuck with old wallet data when switching accounts

Root Cause Analysis:

• MetaMask implements circuit breaker patterns to prevent API abuse
• Our app was making too many rapid successive calls to MetaMask
• Wallet cache wasn't being properly cleared when users switched accounts
• No retry mechanism for temporary MetaMask unavailability

How we solve:

• Always implement retry mechanisms for external API calls
• Clear ALL related cache when switching wallet contexts
• Handle circuit breaker patterns gracefully with user feedback
