The problem EduAR solves

Students and children often learn better when they get to participate in the process of learning. This is achieved through interactive learning which allows the student to participate in the learning environment. Conventional methods of teaching, however, does not satisfy this need and students tend to get bored and often tend to lose interest. This happens due to the fact that the interactivity is limited to static images and texts which seem to be harder for student to visualise and maintain focus. It is also difficult in these times for a teacher to gain the attention of a student in online classes. Students also want to venture out which is not possible in times of crisis and get frustrated and mentally stressed seeing the 4 walls of their room everyday. The goal is to overcome this and provide an interactive learning experience which will be fun use and will help the student learn new concepts along the way.

Challenges we ran into

Covering different subjects and domains to implement in a single Application. We've covered a wide range of subjects from kindergarten subjects to High school with the most important features for each domain to make the learning fun and interactive.
The Portal Scene was not visible during a particular build. The error was rectified using appropriate use of shaders and materials in the scene.
Collaborating on a Unity project with a team-mate was a hurdle as well. Any small change in the unity editor leads to a change in the project settings or other settings of unity which leads to mergre conflicts later in the future. We carefully studied and resolved each conflict by changing the values in the build settings or solving the erros prompted by unity regarding the same.
