This App satisfies the Eduthon Challenges Number 3 and 4
-Tools to support home-schooling
-Mobile- First Education
In this Covid-19, our current education system lacks experimental learning, inquiry based learning. It is quite uninspiring because the interaction between the learning tools and students is limited to static stuffs such as textbooks and videos. It seems hard for students to visualize the concepts and they will easily fail to focus. So our solution is to provide a choice of learning Technology and Innovation that promotes Inquiry-based Science Education with better insight and intuition about the concepts irrespective of his/her surrounding Infrastructure and Educational Facilities by exploiting the use of a cutting edge technology called Augmented Reality. Our mobile application allows the student to have a 360-degree view of the real world entities and interact with them by touching the interface to learn deeper about the concepts with vernacular support. By considering the network issues in rural areas our solution is to build a mobile app and make sure it is accessible by students even in the rural areas by providing the ability to run our app without the use of internet.
1.We tried to make the application Vernacular features but we ran out of time
2.Models were very hard to procure
3.We Orginally wanted Cast Mulitple images at a given instance but later realised that unity does not track multiple objects very effeciently
4.Intially, we found it challening to address the models from the unity editor and later realised it can be eaasily done with the custom behaviour script
