The problem Ecozap solves
Decentalizing carbon practices for a better future.
Nowadays, global warming has become a topic that even nursery kids are aware of, but still this word has been almost lost, just as its meaning. This doesn't mean that the adverse effects have also disappeared. This is where carbon emission regulations come in, supposedly in the form of carbon credits.
This is the crux of the project, to create a regulating committee or interface so that private companies can monitor their usage, even though this might be in-voluntarily or to show and improve their CSR reports, or the government itself might facilitate the usage of such platforms to enforce proper practices. (More expanded in the github repo :))
Challenges I ran into
Uh, challenges as such were a lot 😅.
The SUPRA VM itself, I believe is still in development, and is everyday improving to be better. But in the intial days, without proper documentation, was a bit difficult to get used to, considering I am not as familiar with MOVE as I am with Solidity and Rust. Nonetheless, this was a very enriching experiences, with hours spent on deconstructiong and construncting code with ChatGPT, Claude etc. With me now being confident to say that I am somewhat comfortable and well-versed with MOVE.
The Starkey wallet, though didn't turn out to be much of a hassle and was infact much much better than other popular options such as Metamask, etc. With fast speed and built-in faucet, testing became a breeze :)
