We are developing a web-based AI/ML platform that integrates Google Authentication for user login and registration. The platform focuses on recommending sustainable brands and products in three key areas: Food & Beverage, Beauty Products, and Home Appliances. Using content-based and rule-based filtering, the system tailors recommendations based on users' past data to promote eco-friendly choices.
Our recommendation system empowers users to make sustainable and safe choices across food, cosmetics, and electronics. For food and beverages, we analyze data from OpenFoodFacts to identify carbon emissions and harmful ingredients, suggesting healthier, eco-friendly alternatives. In cosmetics, we assess ingredient safety and recommend products free from harmful substances, sourced from reliable web data. For electronics, we utilize ENERGY STAR ratings and repairability scores to highlight efficient and durable products that reduce environmental impact. By offering actionable insights, our system promotes responsible consumption and supports a sustainable future.
