EcoQuest is a carbon offset dashboard connected to a chrome extension, and equipped with an engaging mini exploration game with collectable NFTs to engage users whilst encouraging environmentally-friendly methods.
How EcoQuest stands out:
- Multichain connection involving ETH, Arbitrum, USDC, Celo and cUSD to lower transaction fees, increase liquidity and raise stability tested using Testnet network
- Compatible with not only MetaMask, but also social login accounts for wider user circle
- High emphasize user experience with NFT gallery, leaderboard and mini exploration game
- Transparent carbon offsetting through Celo network protocol and project funding
Challenges we ran into

- Secure, simple and straightforward payment flow integration to allow user make payment quickly with lowered transaction cost
- Integration of Social Log In to link to wallet
Other errors and troubleshooting:
- 5 team members' first time creating a blockchain website with payment integration
- Need to learn and understand new concepts during project development
- Only a few years' experience in coding thus requiring online reference support
