The problem EarlySuraksha solves

There are over 2500 rural people who lose there lives anually due to natural calamities like lightening. These lives could have been easily saved if we had a mean to dessimate the information. Indian meteriological department recieve the accurate data and have one of the robust models to predict these before hand. We have focus ourselves to aware the people about the upcoming disaster and make them educate about the survival steps that can make there chances of survival significantly high.

Challenges we ran into

It was very challenging to make our App Internet Independent
Aries weather was sending over complicated JSON and it took us hours to extract data from it.
Tracking users location every 15 min was also time consuming and updating the database in realtime was very hectic
