The problem E-Agro solves
The main three problems our application solves is Crop plan, Fertilizer and Crop care. In Crop plan, it helps to recommend optimum crops to be cultivated by farmers based on several parameters and help them make an informed decision before cultivation.In simmple crop plan feature tells which crop to plant in your farm. The second feature is Fertilizer, Fertilizer application rates based on your soil test report can be made. This allows you to check a laboratory’s recommendation or develop your own, especially if using a laboratory that does not use MSU fertilizer. The third and finale feature of our app is Crop Care, Estimated names and causes of harvest diseases and suggestions in order to cure it. You just have to upload the pic of your plant which has any disease our app will detect the diseases and will give solutions to cure that diseases. So our main motive is to make informed decisions to understand the demographics of your area, understand the factors that affect your crop and keep them healthy for a super awesome successful yield.
Challenges we ran into
At first the accuracy of our app was 70%, because we did not have enough data.So we had to improve our app accuracy, so we searched and found some data from kaggle and we collected all small data from different ways and we made a new whole package of data that helped us to boost our accuracy from 70% to 95%. This was our only way because a machine learning project must contain a lot of data.So this is how we solved our big problem. Also we had a problem in Deep learning to make a Neural Network.So from the guide of our mentor we solved it.
