The problem "E- Sakhi" is the project we worked on. solves

It solves one of the major problem of today's condition of women where they are not given enough opportunities to learn, to grow and to become what they want. E-Sakhi mainly concentrates on the educational and job factors that a women can persue. Our project broadly helps women to explore their area of interest and can search for courses and jobs according to their skills. One can also put up their own courses and can put up their job offers so that we can approach them. We also have various courses and jobs for illiterate women who doesn't have much idea about the importance of education, which we believe plays a very important role in our project. We strongly believe in the idea of equality in the field of education and job and this project will definately convey our thoughts to each and every women in India who wants to do something on their own and stand for themselves.

Challenges we ran into

Every project has challenges and yes ofcourse we ran into numerous challenges as well. Front-end in itself was a big challenge for us since it involved a heavy use of javaScript for animations. We had to do a lot of research work before working on this project, look into various fields of education and skill based courses and jobs, which definitely took a lot of time. We had a lot of problems in backend coding. We also wanted to implement scrapping (which would have contributed a lot to this project), but we failed due to time constraints. But after all, what matters is the end-product. We overcame all the challenges one by one and this would have been not possible without the help of our dear mentors who constantly supported us throughout the project. This project's challenges taught us many new things which will definately help us to grow more.
