The problem Drug Repurposing solves

Discovering a new drug to market is a complex and resource-consuming process that can cost pharmaceutical companies an average of $2.6 billion and up to a decade of research and development.

Challenges we ran into

  • Finding a standard dataset for bioinformatics was a challenge, which we gathered
    from Therapeutics Data Commons.
  • The training time would take hours for which we used a cloud platform such as Azure
    to train.
